TELEWORK - Flexible way of working in the changing business environmentTraditionally, the proper place to work is at the workplace. However, this circle has now been broken by the modern communication and information technology. Work is being performed in an "office at home", in a telecottage, a satellite office or some other telework centre. This sort of telework or flexiwork brings a new pattern of thought into the business activities, regional policy and employment efforts. Location and travel will become unessential, and instead of counting and controlling the office hours the focus will be on the results of work.Different aspects of telework - despite working time and placeTelework can be done at home, in a telecottage or in a satellite office by using new communication technology.
