Agreement of developing the third sector

Women's House has made an agreement with the city of Kokkola concerning development of the third sector e.g. by training, meetings and guidance. The agreement was created within the Reves-network.


Regional development activity

Cooperative has actively participated in regional development work by attending development seminars. On the base of our initiative the Regional Council of Central Ostrobothnia found Women theme group to improve noticing of gender aspects in regional development planning and work.


Network activity

Central Ostrobothnia's Women commission works further as an unofficial group. Contacts to Finnish resource centres and international partners has been active.


Training of the staff

The staff of the Cooperative has attended actively training occasions within the framework of various projects and also participated in training organized by financial backers.


Information activity

Women's House's activity has a wide interest in Europe. Actors and groups from Finland and Europe has actively visited in Women's House. Women's House has been introduced in many European conferences as a good example of improving women's cooperation and entrepreneurship.


Project activities

Women's House plans and develops projects by cooperation with region's other actors.


Funding

The activity of the cooperative has been funded by selling work and products and by administrating projects. Cooperative hasn't got any financial support to it's actual activity.
